Mercy Ministry

“Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.” Galatians 2:10

Worldwide, about 16,000 children die daily from food related issues. And they need Jesus. How will you spend your life and money?

About 1 million babies are killed every year in America by abortion.

Please pray that God would show us how to get involved in showing mercy to our community and to the world for His glory, for the salvation of lost souls, and for the good of our neighbors’ physical needs.

Please pray we would obey James 1:27: “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

Please pray that we would “care about all suffering around us, especially eternal suffering” – John Piper

Hear this excellent word about true worship and how much more blessed it is to give than to receive.

Please listen to this excellent sermon on Christian giving and on using your resources to glorify God!

Some Mercy Ministries At Our Church

Bread Of Life

Lord willing, on Tuesday’s at 9am, we hand out free food in the name of Jesus to our community in front of the church building and seek to tell them about the Living Bread Who alone satisfies forever, the Lord Jesus Christ!

On Friday mornings, we hand out free food and provide the same ministry at Park Avenue and Tabor Road.

Rescue Babies For Jesus

Lord willing, every Friday we will meet at the church building at 8:15am (we’ll be back by 11:00am). We’ll go to the abortion mill near Broad and Olney (at Park and Tabor) in order to pray, protest, and plead with men and women not to kill their babies and offer them alternatives like adoption.

We will also seek to tell everyone present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in love and humility.
