Don’t Forget The Unreached Peoples

Don’t Forget Them

We desire to boast only in the cross by seeking to be a church who is passionate about getting the Gospel to the most unreached, unengaged peoples of the world.

“A people group is unreached when the number of Evangelical Christians is less than 2% of its population. It is further called unengaged when there is no church planting strategy consistent with Evangelical faith and practice under way. A people group in not engaged when it has been merely adopted, is the object of focused prayer, or is part of an advocacy strategy.”  From the International Mission Board

For more helpful definitions on other world missions terms go to the Joshua Project.

“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'” Matthew 9:37-38

“Out of the 7 billion people in the world, 2 billion have never even heard the name of Jesus. Only 5% of the people that get Biblical training plan on going into missions. Of those 5%, only 9.6% go to the unreached people groups and they receive only 1% of the church’s money.” Micaela Clough from George Murray, All Nations Family
